,Dear Wafa Sultan .my name is tal rimon and i'm an israeli jew, 17 years old, studying sociology when i first saw you wafa, in a short video on youtube, i was amazed, firstly to hear such things beeing said by a muslim, and secondly i was shocked to find out women are treated so appallingly in neighbor muslim countries, i played videos of your speeches again and again to hear what you have got to say, i started reading articles about you and what you stand for, and got revealed to more women standing up against islam such as Ayan Hirsi Ali and Nooni Darwish. I truely believe as a male living in a democtratic state, you are doing a wonderful thing in this world, i believe you all represent justice and hope for women all over the world, and i admire you for your work. the reason i am telling you all this is that i got very interested in this subject, during this coming school year as a sociology student we have got to present a project doing with society, and i had a thought of focusing on 'women and islam' since it iterests me very much . as we all know, israel is in a longlasting conflict with the palestinians and with the arab world, i must mention i would not like to involve politics in my project, but nevertheless, i believe that opening a communiaction channel between jews and muslims in any level, means progress in the effort for peace/ i am writing you this e-mail in request for your kind assistance, i shall need your help in writing such project, and i would be so very pleased to hear from you. hope to hear from you soon Tal Rimon.
