Thanks to the author of this piece for a reasoned, well-presented essay on an extremely important topic. America has turned a blind eye for too long to the increasing levels of violence against women in our Muslim communities, and it is past time that a light was shone on the topic. I am familiar with Ms. Esman's work from other forums, and I think she will be a great and relevant addition to Gatestone, whose work will fit in well with its other authors. Kudos for adding her to your roster.
