Reader comment on: Muslim Imperialism Reaches the United Nations

Today we find ourselves living in an insane world, which is no exaggeration. Little did I think that in 2016 I would live to see such madness and destruction occurring in Syria for example, where the most dastardly deeds are perpetrated by all sides, yet not a word from the "maintainers of the peace" who 's only mission in life it would seem, is to bash Israel and the Jews. The history of the Jews is a long and proud one, and the detractors who have been at the throats of the Jews is nothing new, and quite honestly I would be surprised if it ceased. Their base hatred of Israel has meant that they have disallowed themselves to advance like Israel has in all spheres scientific only to mention one avenue. The scientific advance of the Palestinians for example has not gone beyond rock throwing and shaky tunnel building. My gripe is not with Israels enemies - Israel handles them with alacrity, I have an issue with the West who allow the inept UN to continue as it does. The early League of Nations and subsequent UN have a track record not to be proud of. Let me reframe that - a shocking track record. Where are the decent countries today, why are they not condemning the ongoings of the UN and Unesco ? Why is anti-Semitism so rife throughout Europe so soon after the Holocaust and not being challenged? The goings-on in the UK with the Labour party , and recent rant in the house of lords to mention but a few. Denis MacEion is right - its time for decent people to RUN from the UN. I make an appeal for decent people to stand up and say-ENOUGH OF THIS MADNESS! Life is too precious to let this devastation continue
