This citizen finds most interesting among these quotes from various European leadership, that they identify the social evil of political correctness as one of the targets for change.
From afar, they also perceive the odiousness to free speech of extreme euphemism (AKA political correctness).
This evil cramps and hinders free speech in the name of politeness and feel-goodism.
To counter this self-censorship degrading to a principle of democracy, one only as to bear in mind and practice the insight of Confucius: "The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their right name."
Another philosopher, Spinoza, gives us the operational definition of free speech: "In a free state, every man may think what he likes, and say what he thinks."
These two most smart men offer the antidote to political correctness.
Yes, let us take back our democracy from the gang of elites, establishment figures, special interests, and their slavish puppets the news media workers, who together aim to gag our voice. By the practice of free speech, banish political correctness.
Let us think for ourselves and speak our minds freely once again.
