It appears that there are deep divisions within Fatah which will eventually lead to its political disintegration and the end of the political career of Mahmoud Abbas. According to the latest poll 62% of Palestinians want to see him gone. The winner will be Hamas which doesn't believe in peace, its charter calls for the destruction of Israel.
It would foolhardy to speak of a two state solution and blame Israel for being an obstacle to peace when you have Hamas having the upper hand politically and continue to radicalize and recruit Palestinian youth.
