The Collapse Of Christian Leaders Is Pure And Simply Being Cowards!! So Much For Their Faith!!

Reader comment on: Nomination for Nobel Peace Prize: Reverend Gavin Ashenden

Stop the world, I want to get off!!! I hold nothing but contempt for all the Archbishops and clergymen willing to turn their back on Christianity in order to help Muslims spout their hatred. To actually allow a section of the koran that disputes what we as Christians have believed for as long as we have lived is unforgivable treachery on the part of the, so called, senior clergymen.
I fully understand just why Revd Gavin Ashenden has decided to resign his position but feel he could better serve the Christian faith by staying in his post.
However, I also see his point about being more able to speak against those who are in the process of betraying all that we have held dear for many years.
The Archbishop of Canterbury has spoken out in favour of Islam and Muslims previously and personally, I feel that he is unfit to hold the position. As stated, the Queen is Head of the church of England. She should question what these Archbishop's motives are, or "Off With Their Heads"! No Christian would ever be allowed to read in a Mosque from the Bible. Why have we always to bow and scrape to Islam?? These Archbishops are treading on very, dangerous ground!
