Reader comment on: Nomination for Nobel Peace Prize: Reverend Gavin Ashenden

Submitted by Alicia Sinclair-Portland, Jan 25, 2017 15:02

It is always a joy when an avowed secularist-who, in theory, might be said not to have skin in the game-is so lucid and clear in defending the Christian who might once have been protected from such insults by his Church Leaders.
But look what we're left with-a spineless, clueless wilfully-offensive and provocative bunch of queens and deviants. All of who are in pursuit of a satanic peaceful graveyard in which to bury the Cross, Resurrection and all honoured Christian history and theology.
And all because they hope to get onto Songs Of Praise or play Devils Advocate.
But-as our Muslim student ululated her worst blasphemies (and I don't blame her or the Umma-who were only reading from THEIR Scriptures)-maybe our godless louche quislings at the top of the church dunghill ought to get so, mebody to find them Ezekiel, Jesus and his warnings in Johns Gospels re "false shepherds"-and Paul says a few things too.
Well said Douglas-thanks for the support and understanding-one can only dream of the day when somebody in the Church could write something like this in THEIR house organs.
Douglas will be far higher up in the pecking order when the prelates are going to hell.
