Reader comment on: Merkel's Migrant Deception

Germany's reckoning is coming. On the 24th of September this year, to be exact.
Should the German people vote to retain this individual in power, or any other German politician for that matter, who preaches a similar message and has a similar political determination - then Germany as we knew it is kaput and the Germans ultimately, can look forward to ushering in a new era and a new Germany. One that leaves their safe, prosperous, vital country behind and replaces it over time, with a poorer, more violent, more unsafe, less educated, more illiterate, less healthy nation that eventually, will prioritize Islam over secularism and the German spirit.
If the Germans choose this path - well, that is their democratic right. And the beginning of the end for their ability to democratically choose their future. In the event that they continue to support Merkel or any other politician who has adopted her zeal and focus on this matter, then they need to accept the larger consequences that come with that choice. And do not look to the rest of the West for safe haven or rescue, down the line, when they inevitably, desperately require it.
We teach our children, that for every action they undertake, there is always a consequence. We all know this to be true, whether we like it or not. The German people have a choice here, to control the consequences - and by and large, their future - depending on their actions on the 24th September 2017.
