Reader comment on: Crucial Threat to Israel from Western Border

I would edit out the word "crucial." Knowing what we know of Mursi, a man who will act fast, the beefing up of forces in the Sinai means basically a reduction in timing of a potential strike by Egypt. Knowing this removes the inevitable drawn out arguments in the Knesset and Israeli press. There is only one thing to do, and that is to be fully prepared to hit them on their first wrong move. Israel simply has to bomb Iran, and it can't afford to wait until after the U.S. election. A well-timed strike on Iran would coincide with the date of Mursi's visit to Iran.
