Reader comment on: Are the Hard Leftists Aligned with Radical Islamists?

Firstly I disagree that there exists a large number of moderate Muslims. The Quran calls moderate Muslims apostates and demands their deaths. We recently saw a vicious terrorist attack by Muslims with machine guns in Canada against a so-called moderate mosque.
One has to look at history to find the truth about Islam.
From the time of Mohammad until the end of World War 1 in 1918 the Islamic world was run under a caliphate that was based in Turkey. Full Sharia Law was implemented in all its viciousness.
Turkey had sided with Germany in the war and they had been soundly defeated. Their new European masters would not tolerate Islam as it was practiced. This forced the Muslims to do exactly what the Quran tells them to do. The Quran tells Muslims to live peaceably with and even befriend the enemy until the forces of Islam are powerful enough to defeat them. The next part after that is extremely nasty!
This was the moderate Islam that the world saw for many decades.
The communists embraced radical Islam to further their quest for a one world communist government. The idea was and still is to flood the west with Muslims and destroy all western values and especially Christianity. This they believe will make it easier for the people to accept communism.
Many American politicians, mostly democrats are globalists which is another name for communists. Some are quite openly communists. Obama is a perfect example of a communist politician.
So why Islam? The answer is simple. There is no such thing as freedom under true Islamic law. This is perfect for communism as it too is completely devoid of freedom.
