Nicholas SaidelNicholas Saidel is currently a Research Specialist at the Institute for Strategic Threat Analysis where his focus is on counter-terrorism and national security issues. Mr. Saidel received his BA in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and his JD from Georgetown University Law Center. He is also completing his MA in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.

Dr. Shakil Afridi, a Pakistani physician who helped the U.S. locate Osama bin Laden, has been in jail in Pakistan since he was arrested days after the raid on bin Laden's compound in 2011.
