Reader comment on: No Justice in the Netherlands

I dislike when people generalize. ALL any group is obviously false. There are individuals and there are labels for groups. That said, when Moroccans moved into my mother's Dutch neighborhood it became more and more like a Muslim nation and less and less like a Dutch nation. So much so that most of the native Dutch fled and left for places outside of that Amsterdam neighborhood. Why? The Moroccans did various things that were not pleasant (beating of their wives for example) and did not follow Dutch laws and values (did not pay rent on the apartments my grandfather owned. He was forced to rent to them and was not permitted to evict them when they did not pay). I am certain it was not ALL of them. However it was enough of them to make people to want to leave and feel like they were still living in Holland. There are reports of schools in Amsterdam that have become very anti semitic as the population of Muslim students has risen. This is problematic and politicians like Geert have a right to ask questions about whether this is good for Dutch society.
