John McCain was absolutely the poorest candidate the Republicans could have nominated. It is about time that conservatives, real conservatives, "don't tread on me" conservatives stand up and be counted. I keep hearing about Jindal, Bachman, Palin, and John Thune from South Dakota. If they want to lead they need to get out there and make some noise. Michael Steele has so much work to do and he should begin by cleaning all the dead wood out of the RNC.
