Reader comment on: The Politics of Demonization

Submitted by Eric Ben-Kiki, Mar 17, 2009 13:52

I often wonder why explosive subjects such as the above are not more prevalent in the main stream media, especially in western media. I find myself always on the verge of confusion in trying to relate the media sources I read from, to their territories of "right/left", "liberal/conservative" etc. If I take the perspective that what fuels the main stream media giants are "profit and appeasement" things start to make sense as to why it's very difficult to unearth "relevance", tangled in the layers of information swirling around us. I tend to like the "outrage of justice denied and the voice of reason" combination myself. So...I'm still trying to figure out if the PVV party is a national trend in advocating the defense of secular western freedoms or a another xenophobic tribal council. cheers!
