Saturday afternoon, November 13, the former Prime Minister and now leader of the opposition in the Parliament, Ms. Khaleda Zia, was forcefully evicted from her house by the Bangladesh Army and other members of law enforcement agencies.

Since this incident, there has been a series of clashes on the road. There are calls for a Sunday dawn-to -dusk general strike in Bangladesh. Moreover, the government is interrupting the internet connections of all newspapers and news services.
