Reader comment on: The Mosque at Ground Zero, a Muslim View: Planting a Flag on an Islamic Conquest

Submitted by DeucePrez (United States), Sep 2, 2010 00:29

To compromise with those in opposition to the construction of the community center, the name was changed from Cordoba House to Park 51. It will have a mosque in it, but it will also have a basketball court and a swimming pool. This well-needed cultural center is designed to educate the public about Islam, not only to designate a place of worship. To thwart the plan is islamophobic. Is it wise to support total opposition to the deen of Islam? Perhaps it would be better to be more thorough when constructing opinions.
