Reader comment on: European 'No-Go' Zones: Fact or Fiction? Part 2: Britain

I'm a pessimist where Islam is concerned. At some point some Muslim - or group thereof, as the lawyers would put it - will commit an act in a secular First World democracy that will have the population of the country concerned up in arms. They will exert democratically irresistible pressure to forbid this religion and everything to do with it and tell all the Muslims in that country to leave. What will our lords and masters in politics and the public service - who by the way constitute a single coherent interest group - do then? We live in interesting times, as the old Chinese curse has it.
